あおとみどりの国
モンゴル旅行の体験や現地で聞いた民話などから生まれた幻の国、「この地上のどこにもないどこか遥かの草原の国」である「あおとみどりの国」に暮らす少年と動物たちの日常を描いたシリーズです。
初期に描いた作品の一部は、同一タイトルでモンゴルでのスケッチと併せたzineとして販売もしています。
2019年10月25〜27日に開催された、UNknown Asia Art Exchange Osaka 2019で同タイトルの展示と発表を行いました。
Blue and Green Land.
This illustration is a series depicting the daily lives of boys and animals living in "Blue and Green Land". The country is a phantom country born from my longing for the distant land, the experience of traveling in Mongolia, and the folk tales I heard in the field.
Some of the works drawn early are sold as zine with the same title and sketches in Mongolia.
We exhibited and announced the title at Unknown Asia Art Exchange Osaka 2019, held from October 25 to 27, 2019.
昨年（2018年)の夏、モンゴルへ旅行をした。今回の展示の全ては、その旅行からインスピレーションを得たシリーズとなる。
盆地の山奥で育ったせいか、幼い頃から、だだっ広い海、涼しい高原、草原の暮らしと言うものに漠然とした憧れがある。どこまでも広がる大地に、覆いかぶさるまぁるい空と、そこを渡る風。青々とした風が吹く草原に立つ、「ここではない国」に住む男の子は、いつも私が夢想する世界のどこかに存在した。
それが旅行を経て、私の中で一気に成長し、この国が出来あがった。
イメージの中のまぼろしの国。「あおとみどりの国」と言う。ここには、一人の少年と二匹の犬と馬、それからトナカイや羊やヤギなんかが暮らしている。狼や鷲や熊も、きっといる。少年以外に住人はいるのかもしれないし、いないのかもしれないし、いたのかもしれない。そう言う国だ。
作品郡の中には、「ジョノンハル」や「東へ」のように、モンゴルの民話から発想したものもあるが、あくまでこの国はモンゴルに似ていて、けれどもこの地上のどこにもないどこか・遥か彼方の国であり、私の中の憧れとモンゴルでの旅から生まれた、草原の物語でもある。

Last summer (2018), I traveled to Mongolia. These works are inspired by the trip.
Because I grew up in the basins of mountains, I have had a vague longing to live near the wide oceans, the high plateaus, and the grasslands, ever since I was a little girl. Beneath the sky that covers the earth and the wind that crosses it. A boy who lives in a "country not here" standing on a grassy, windy meadow, always existed somewhere in the world I dreamed of.
After traveling, it grew all at once in me, and this country was completed: the fantasy country in my imagination, called "Blue and Green Land". There is a boy, two dogs, a horse, a reindeer, sheep, and goats. There could be wolves, foxes, and bears, as I imagine. There may or may not have been residents other than the boy. It is such a country.
Although some works of fiction, like “жонон хар”, and “To the East”, are inspired by the folk tales of Mongolia, it doesn’t mean this country is Mongolia, or nowhere on the earth. This is a story of a grassland, a country far away, born from my longing and travels in Mongolia.
